My shooting philosophy 

Kseniya Kunitskaya is a portrait photographer based in Russia, working at the intersection of fine art, editorial photography and intimate portraiture. 

 I photograph people as stories, not as images. My work explores identity, vulnerability and the quiet tension between how we see ourselves and how we are seen by others. 

Through controlled light, sculptural composition and an intimate approach to the subject, I create portraits that exist somewhere between photography, fashion and visual storytelling.
